1770 - 1780
Governor Charles of Lorraine had a special interest in new techniques and materials. In his palace in Tervuren, he had special workshops set up for this purpose and even started a porcelain factory. The German landscape painter Georg Christoph Lindemann (c.1735-1780) was put in charge of the factory and made this special porcelain plate.
