Dinner Time
How was the table set by nobles and wealthy citizens in Europe from the 16th century to the present day? Taste and aesthetics evolve over time, influencing what is served and how people eat. Cooking and presentation become art forms.
Eating is a full experience, and enjoyment adds extra value. In the course of the 20th century, people started dining out more often. The table was richly set only for festive occasions. Today, contemporary designers explore the boundaries between functional objects and works of art.
About the tour Dinner Time
- Guided tours are available from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm. Tours start every hour.
- Guide languages: Dutch, French or English
- Duration: 90 minutes. Please allow extra time at the start and end of the tour.
- Minimum 2 and maximum 15 people per guide.
- Price: € 120 per guide (excluding entrance ticket price)
- Admission price.
