Audio walk through the Historic Centre
DIVA is located in a district where silversmiths and jewellers lived, worked and sold their products for more than 500 years. In these very streets, Antwerp built its reputation as a world centre for diamonds and silversmithing. But how did the city do that?
In this audio walk Helen Gallagher takes you on a quest for the roots of Antwerp as the world diamond city. At 12 locations in the city, she will tell you the hidden stories of the 16th to the 21st century and drop by at some contemporary jewellers.
