Boucheron

This jewelry boutique was opened in 1858 by Frederic Boucheron. The first shop was located in the Galerie de Valois near Palais-Royal. Paul Legrand (1840 - 1910) worked from 1863 as chief designer at Boucheron. In 1866 Boucheron won the gold medal at the Exposition Universelle. The designs of Paul Legrand also enjoyed great success in the following years and in 1889, the house Boucheron won the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition in Paris. In 1893 Boucheron moved to Place vendôme 26 and opened a store in Moscow that year, soon more stores spread across all continents. To this day, Boucheron is a prestigious jewelry boutique that was popular with royal families throughout the 20th century. Since 2015, Boucheron is directed by Hélène Poulit-Duquense and Claire Choisne.
