Ruys, Albert

Albert Ruys was born on March 21 1858 as the son of the silversmith Jacobus Ruys and his wife Rosa Rombouts. In 1885 he took over the family workshop and store. The same year he marries Joséphina Rambaux and together they expand the workshop. In 1919 their son Raymond Ruys (1886 - 1956) took over the shop. Albert Ruys died on the 20th of March 1946.
