Silversmith from Schoonhoven. In 1807 he was already a supervisor. Registered on the 25th of July 1813. Travelled a lot and employed three servants. Among other things he manufactured boxes, snaps for handbags, children's bells, book clasps, spoons, coat hooks and shoe buckles. He died on the 19th of October 1853. His widow, Margaretha Verheij, continued the business.
