Hilde De Decker is an Antwerp-based artist. She first studied interior architecture for two years before starting her studies in jewelry art at Sint Lucas Antwerp. Since 1988 she has exhibited at several group exhibitions and in 1996 her first solo exhibition took place 'Eva's Cushion'. In 2008 she won the City Goldsmith's Price in Hanau. In addition to her artistic practice, she has been teaching. From 2000 to 2008 she was a teacher at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, and from 2008 to 2016 she was head of the jewelry department at Sint Lucas Antwerp.
