Antwerp silversmith. J.H.F. Raas, who sometimes signed his work in full, was established as a silversmith and chaser in the Lange Koepoortstraat certainly from 1862 till 1870. He no longer is mentioned in the directory of 1877. In 1864 he took part in the exhibition of religious silver in Mechelen (Malines).
