Petrus Leopold Nicolaas Dandelooy, Antwerp silversmith was baptized on 10 September 1773 in the Sint-Andries Church. He was the son of farrier and stove smith Henricus Leopoldus and Theresa Lins. In 1791 he was apprenticed to the goldsmith and jeweler Godefriedus Verhout. In 1814 he married Thérèse Martine Herry, and they live together in the 4th district no. 27. On August 28, 1836, he died in Antwerp. His eldest son, Fransiscus Leopoldus Judocus, took over the studio.
