Silversmith from Maastricht. Born on the 16th of November 1656 as the son of silversmith Antonius Wery (+ 1685) from Maaseik and Margareta van Bloemenda(e)l, scion of a goldsmith and silversmith family from Maastricht. On 6 September 1685 he presented his masterpiece. In 1686 he married Elisabeth Meesters (1661-1741). Assayer for Liège in 1690-1692. Several times reigning master for Liège. He was silversmith to the Chapter of St-Servaas. Buried in Maastricht on the 22nd of April 1727. Teacher of Willem de Bor, Tossin Weerts and Johannes Hendricus Potti. Brother of silversmith Gerardus Wery (1662-1718) and father of silversmith Johannes Wery (1695-1750).
