Silversmith from Mechelen who took over his father's workshop. He marries Marie Gislène Backx and they have a son, Victor Joseph, who will later take over his father's workshop. He is active from 1807. He made a commemorative pipe for the battle of Waterloo in 1815. When this object was exhibited in 1820 at Exposition complete des produits de l'industrie nationale du Royaume des Pays-Bas, Van Deuren received an honourable mention for his ingenuity. In 1835, Van Deuren died in Mechelen.
