Corner tile

Tiles with the same border and corner decoration can be seen in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Art and History in Brussels, in the Plantin-Moretus Museum and in the Mayer van den Bergh Museum in Antwerp. One of the tiles in the latter collection bears the date 1607. Located in the Cammerstraat in Antwerp, the Den Salm pottery was managed by Willem van Brecht from 1573 to c. 1622.
