Portrait of Isbrand Roos, bust in three-quarters to the right. A collar in Van Dyck-lace over his black clothing. Isbrand Roos (° 30 July 1614) was the son of the city secretary and counselman of Rotterdam. Married to Elisabeth Cuyp and then to Maria Bick. His son Hendrik married Cecilia van der Dussen. He was the ancestor of Digna Roos, wife of Antoine van Outheusden (source: Pierre Lunden Legacy catalog).
