Sterckshof commission 1996: Set of ten plates

In his designs David Huycke experiments with the possibilities of metal and the border between useable and unusable. He also likes to play with the contrast between light and dark, shadow and reflection. With these ten dishes, which are stacked one on top of the other, the variation between black ones and silver-coloured ones creates the effect of shadow.
