DIVA talk 20th Silver Triennial

On the occasion of the 20th Silver Triennial, DIVA invites prominent national and international silversmiths for a conversation. The programme features silversmith Markus Pollinger, winner of the 20th Silver Triennial. He will take you through the design and production process of his winning object. The three Belgian participants David Huycke, Helena Schepens and Patrick Storme will come to explain their work. Among other things, they will discuss the techniques used in their entries, such as the ajour, granulation or chasingtechnique. In addition, Germany's Beate Leonards will reveal the secrets of her selected teapot and there will be Gretal Ferguson, artist in residence at DIVA. She comes to talk about her journey as a silversmith.

The programme includes six interviews of 20 minutes each. The interviewers are Evelien Bracke (curator, Design Museum Gent) Malte Guttek (Deutsches Goldschmiedehaus Hanau) Leonie Maerevoet (curator Zilvertriënnale, DIVA) and Tom Iriks (coordinator DIVA atelier)
