Wallace Chan mini-exhibition and DIVA talk

Wallace Chan (b. 1956) is a world-renowned Chinese jewellery creator, sculptor and innovator. And he´s coming to DIVA! His creativity and curiosity have driven him to develop several innovations, amongst them: The Wallace Cut, an illusionary three-dimensional carving technique, mastery of titanium in jewellery-making and The Wallace Chan Porcelain, a material five times harder than steel. From 19^th of November until the 9^th of January, DIVA presents a mini-exhibition of seven butterfly jewellery pieces from Chan's collection. Discover the magnificence of his jewellery in the presentation Winged Beauty: The Butterfly Jewellery Art of Wallace Chan and find out more about his inspiration and how the jewellery is made in the videos on the screen.

Tickets? No reservations needed. The mini-exhibition may also be visited without a ticket to the museum.

DIVA talk
November 28th Chan presented his new book Winged Beauty: The Butterfly Jewellery Art of Wallace Chan during a DIVA talk. Together with co-authors Vanessa Cron, Melanie Grant and Juliet Weir de Rochefoucould. Soon the video recordings of the DIVA talk and book launch will be added to the website. His book is for sale at the museum shop for € 45,-.
