Plaquette 'Diana huntress'
1650 - 1700
The plaque may have decorated an Antwerp cabinet. a: A deer, which has been struck by one of Diana's arrows, is chased into the water by hunting dogs. The horn blower was copied from a figure in P.P. Rubens's painting "Diana hunting with her nymphs" (1639).
