This workshop introduces you to the gouache painting technique used in illustrating diamonds in jewellery designs.

Learn how light affects volumes and materials and how you can paint transparent gems with gouache.

We will further discuss the faceting of gemstones and you will learn how to illustrate different shapes in colour.
Introduction to granulating in silver
An ancient decorating technique: make small gold or silver balls and fix them in patterns on a metal surface.

Hammer away during this open workshop silversmithing. For beginner and advanced silversmiths.
Sling and vacuum casting
During the workshop you will go through the whole process: from wax carving to casting with the sling or vacuum machine.
